Description

This work is composed of photographs “found” in flea markets. Each of the original photographs has the sitters name indicated on the back of each photo… these are listed at the back of the book. This work essentially questions family history and how it is possible that this history can be “lost”. How is it possible that no-one cared enough to save this family history? Where there no surviving heirs to this history? How do these images end up in a second hand market? Laser printed photographs tipped into a book.
