Here the artist curates found work; from July 2005 through July 2007 Busby collected all the posters she found stuck to telephone poles in Halifax’s North End. Mostly for musical performances, yard sales or political protests these posters display a remarkable variety of aesthetic styles, media and levels of quality. These books catalogue the flyers displayed in her shows of the same work (entitled ‘The North End’) at the Emerson Gallery in Berlin in 2006, and at Art Metropole in Toronto in 2007. The books contain over 600 full-page poster reproductions arranged chronologically, black and white or colour depending on the original. A true insight into real urban culture. There are three box-sets containing two books each; and each book is from a signed and numbered edition of 10. The upright centre-divided slip case is covered in black linen.
