Description

Kathrin Hone and Gismarvik Bjarte investigate Norse legends in the wooded lands of Finnskogen located on the boarder between Norway and Sweden. Acting on the influence of a resurrected film thought to be long lost; the artists embark on a journey into the unknown attempting to prove the existence of the various spirits and creatures believed to haunt the remote area. The book features a glossary of terms, reproductions of original notes, maps, many b/w and colour images, interviews, log notes, folk songs, and detailed texts for each of the legendary tales.
