Daniela Keiser’s translation project is comprised of twelve photographs that the artist took in Cairo and nearby areas during a studio residency. Local residents were then invited to respond to the artist’s photographs through personal compositions in Arabic which are published beside the photographs. The texts are also translated and printed in German and English.
