Description

Grand Openings is a performance collective comprised of Ei Arakawa, Jutta Koether, Jay Sanders, Emily Sundblad, Stefan Tcherepnin, and other sometime collaborators. Grand Openings creates one-of-a-kind performances of constant movement and expertly carried-out destruction/construction. Here a collection of images, ephemera, and prepatory texts, drawings and instructions, from Grand Openings’ performances, workshops and actions are collected creating a document of their production.
