A platform of young researchers, professors and artists reflect on contemporary art’s relations with the realities of Eastern and Western Europe. This exchange leads a way to lasting cooperative practice between the arts, humanities and social initiatives. The project’s point of departure was the “East Art Map” project by Slovenian artists’ collective, IRWIN. Mind the Map! is part of the German Federal Cultural Foundation’s “relations” initiative. The book includes photo documentation of symposium events.
