Description

This artists’ book by the renowned Swiss duo Peter Fischli and David Weiss is dedicated to the questions everyone asks himself now and again: “Is life a strange system of caves?”; “Can there be too much of a good thing?”; “What effect do I have?”; “Should I submerge myself?”; “Am I eccentric?”; “What is my dog thinking?”; “Where is my bed?” or “Does she feel it?”

These are questions in search of information, but rather they must remain unanswered, perhaps because they seem so simple. As in their artists’ book “Plötzlich diese Übersicht” (1982) and “Die sichtbare Welt / Visible World” (2002), Fischli and Weiss are once again tracking the mechanisms of the mundane.
