Accompanying Liz Magor’s solo exhibition, this eponymously titled catalogue is a survey of the artist’s work from 1989 to 2002 and contains four essays examining her sculptural and photographic production, including her ten year project documenting hobbyists who stage historical battles. Other common themes in Magor’s work such as issues of Canadian identity and themes of survivalism are also explored. The catalogue includes colour and black & white reproductions and a detailed exhibition history and bibliography. This publication is a proud recipient of the 2003 OAAG Awards in the Curatorial Writing category.
