The good the evil and everything in-between is a misleading (mensongé) title. There are many more synonyms between “evil” and “good” than this book suggests it. However, what is really striking here is the subtlety of the shifts in meaning, which flow unjolted double page after double page – could these two protagonists possibly be close neighbors?
