Musselled Moore (Reclining Figure, 1950) was created in parallel with Simon Starling’s spring 2008 solo exhibition at The Power Plant, Cuttings (Supplement). The photograph documents a maquette that riffs on The Power Plant commissioned sculpture ‘Infestation Piece (Musselled Moore)’, which was acquired by, and is on display at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
