Artiste multidisciplinaire, M. Snow réalise La région centrale en 1971, dans un espace désert de la toundra canadienne. A cette occasion, il installe un dispositif très original : une caméra fixée sur un trépied omnidirectionnel d’une flexibilité remarquable afin d’explorer durant trois heures un espace vide de toute civilisation où nul humain ne vient intervenir.

Multidisciplinary artist, Michael Snow produced ‘La région centrale’ in 1971 in a deserted area of the Canadian Tundra. He installed a remarkably flexible multi-directional camera and over the course of three hours, he documented the barren landscape.
