Made to accompany Ono’s exhibition at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, WOMEN’S ROOM, this artist book couples Ono’s 1973 text “Feeling the Space” with a single photogtaph of a view from the window of a spare room in the Dakota. With a possible reference to Michael Snow’s Wavelength film (and his book Cover to Cover) the single image is subjected to a slow zoom and dissolve into abstract pixils. An elegant meditation on the dissolvable boundaries between people.
