Fiona Smyth turns her pen to Perro Verlag’s Hell Passport zine series and the result is a swirl of mystical, grotesque, surreal and visceral imagery (literally visceral, there’s a lot of exposed viscera). With an extraordinary contrast between various shapes; hard and crystalline, bulbous and dripping or manifold and tentacular, Smyth has made her vision of Hell as beautiful and disturbing as any other yet seen.
