Raw v. 1 n. 6
RAW was a series of comics anthologies edited by Art Spiegelman and Françoise Mouly that was published from 1980 to 1991. It was an important publication of the 1980s alternative comics movement. As well, RAW was one of the few, regular North American venues for European comics.
This issue includes Komar and Melamid, Mark Beyer, Joost Swarte, Saudin bin Labutau and Art Spiegelman, Justin Green, Muñoz and Sampayo, Jayr Pulga, Ever Meulen, Jerry Moriarty, Ben Katchor, Mark Fisher, Charles Burns, Mark Caro, Mark Newgarden, Josh Alan Friedman and Drew Friedman, Gary Panter, George Herriman, Pascal Doury. Raw 6 includes a two-color newsprint signature — which includes a center spread by Ever Meulen — and Maus chapter 5.
