Part of the illy espresso cup collection, this cup was developed out of the “Love difference” project. The “Love difference” project, established in 2002, was organized to bring people and institutions in the Mediterranean area together to artistically facilitate a move beyond conflicts of cultural and national origins. The “Love difference” projects network transnationality with the universality of art, directly linking art with each social sector. This illy espresso cup features the phrase ‘love difference’ in various languages on the saucer while the shape of the Mediterranean adorns the cup.
