Description

““Telling Motions” is presented in the musical form of variations on a theme. The work utilizes a musical score and poetic texts to explore meaings which are outside the realm of conventional language. The tape explores repetition and change based on the context and treatment of the imagery. Memory and learning are explored as the viewer becomes actively engaged in the process of decoding the pluralistic ‘readings’ that are generated through language, image and music relations”
