Founded and edited by Willoughby Sharp and Liza Bear in 1968, Avalanche Magazine was a well-designed and influential publication of the late sixties and early seventies, one of the first to concentrate solely on conceptual art. The magazine folded in 1976.
Avalanche Summer 1972 features Yvonne Rainer on the cover.
