Published on the occasion of the exhibition “Bill Viola” curated by Barbara London, that ran 16 October 1987 – 3 January 1988 at the Museum of Modern Art, New York.

Includes essays by Barbara London, J.Hoberman and Donald Kuspit, with selected writings by Viola. Documentation, colour and b/w plates. With a presentation inscription from the artist , dated London 30 September 2000, accompanied by a drawing of a television and wire, marked ‘The last line’.
