Description

The Queers is a haunted airbnb story set in Venice. Pairing moody, monochromatic watercolour images with an austere text, the story is a take on queer Gothic horror fiction. If in this genre in the past, queerness is suggested through an atmosphere of horror but unstated, in The Queers, by contrast, queerness is overt, named and repeated, while the horror and hauntedness of its setting is only suggested and imagined.

Staple-bound, softcover, monochromatic blue laser-print.
