This idiosyncratic but handsome volume, co-published with the Helen Pitt Gallery in Vancouver, presents a collection of gig posters, exhibition posters and other ephemera from the wild fusion of punk rock, new art, performance and political activism that collided in the Helen Pitt/Unit Pitt/P.I.G. gallery from 1979 to 1984. Many of the posters, which include a U-J3RK5 gig poster and an advertisement for Attila Richard Lukacs’s first solo exhibition, are reproduced at their original size, and lovingly bound for scholars and collectors alike.
