A souvenir and celebration of Canadian feline history. The Parliamentary Cats were once employed as pest-control throughout Canadian governmental chambers. Now, the parliamentary buildings are the site of a cat sanctuary overseen by a dedicated group of volunteers.
Each coin is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity that describes the history of the parliamentary cats.
A portion of the proceeds from sales of these Commemorative Coins will be donated to the Parliamentary Cat Sanctuary.
