Another offering in a series of works through which Paquette brands his own practice as a graffiti artist. Refashioned spray-can nozzles maintain traces of their spent paint-colours indicating their previous incarnation as a tool of an urban subculture, all the while fulfilling their current function as a home or office accessory.
Pascal Paquette’s nozzles were part of ‘Gift Shop Gift Shop’ a collaborative project with fellow Toronto-based artist, Sean Martindale that was presented by the Art Gallery of Ontario’s ‘Toronto Now series.’
