Description

Published for the festival Beyond D.I.Y. in Tilburg, this nicely-designed zine holds some collected thoughts on how our current money systems are legitimized and how they structuralize exploitation.

“By perceiving economic networks as discreet subject positions, we can begin to articulate a politics of networks, instead of continuing with the unexamined assumption that networks and standards are neutral, objective, and inevitable phenomena outside of the possibility of contestation.”

Includes an essay that describes various historical and contemporary attempts at establishing alternative currency systems concluding with a diagrammatic proposal for a local currency.
