An artist book that undertakes a semiotic investigation through collage and bilingual word- play.
Each book-work has a unique cover made from original geological maps. Inside are a series of 40 reproductions of mixed-media collages that attempt to expand the possibilities for creating meaning through the Italian term “terracotta” (English trans. “Cooked Earth”).
