Presented by Anitra Hamilton’s Satchel Gallery (where it is showing for the month of June), this work from Toronto artist Adrienne Trent explores the theme of preparedness with this survival kit multiple. Included are twenty-four conventional items such as a spork, waterproof matches, compass and the like (all itemized with letters A to W on the accompanying laminated card) and items X and Y for when things get desperate; a replica handgun and bright red lipstick. Presented at Art Metropole on Saturday, June 23rd, 2007. From a signed and numbered edition of 10.
