Part of an ongoing investigation by the Atlas Group into the uses of car bombs in the 1975-1991 Lebanese Wars, this book centers on the photographic documentation of these events; where the disembodied car engines, sometimes blasted hundreds of meters from the explosion site are the subject of eyewitness photographers’ images, reproduced here. Includes 104 greyscale photographs, with text in English, French and Arabic.
