Diderot is a serial anthology of artists’ works in video. Published by United Media Arts Studies, each issue contains new work specially produced by invited artists to address specific themes or conditions. Diderot No. 1—The Emperor’s New Clothes. Programs commissioned between 1983 and 1986 and produced by artists normally working in other media, including Mark DeGuerre, Lily Eng, Fast Wurms, Brian Scott, Doug Sigurdson and Suzanne Gillies.
