I’ve accumulated so many “answers,” I think it’s better if you keep me in line: I know that a lot of what people say, not just me, is propaganda and not straight talking. You’re asked about how you write and what you’re doing and you can’t help wanting to look good. That’s my chief use of theory and concept in fact—something to hide behind. I’m more interested in the equivalent of manual labor.
