Printed as high-contrast photocopies and Cerlox-bound, this untitled, unlabled bookwork was classified as a zine when it was available with his recent Miami MOCA exhibition, but is more than that. Combining Pierson’s photos of handsome young men and neon signs, found images of Elvis, quotes from Artaud and critical writings on Pierson’s work, this work becomes a crypic stew of references that makes you feel you’re really getting to know Pierson. Look for one of the most hilarious press releases ever a dozen pages from the end of the book.
