The artist’s book twin of Jenny Holzer’s Dia Art Foundation installation “Lamentations”, here reprinted are the passages Holzer wrote to represent the dying thoughts of ten adults, two children and one infant. The thirteen texts originally found on LED screens and carved into stone sarcophagi are here reproduced in this beautiful book (on alternating heavy paper separated by vellum sheets).
