Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven has created an artist book that explores sex and technology. She was staying in the Guido Gezelle’s quarter of Bruges in Belgium. Knowing the priest/poet as well as his “hate for women,” Van Kerckhoven desire to subvert this legacy was matched with her creativity. For 96 days, she faxed pictures of distorted “woman-image” to a faxmachine in Bruges. This book is one of this projects decisive parts. Highly pixelate and saturated in colour.
