Melancholy, absence, yearning and an irresistible allure to dearth, Pierson’s vision suggests impenetrable isolation with a Warholesque playfulness. Images are juxtaposed in what seems a random and haphazard method. While Pierson’s photographs are intentionally unspectacular, they flux between monumental myth-making and meaningless banality. Texts by Yilmaz Dziewior, Gerard A. Goodrow and Peter Weiermair.
