Janet Cardiff’s The Missing Voice (Case Study B) is an ambitious work by a Canadian artist based in the streets of London’s East End. The fiction, tone, and guided tour are conveyed to the far-removed reader with printed transcripts, b/w photos, and an audio cd containing the artist’s complete audio walk.
Curator and critic Kitty Scott has contributed a major essay on Janet Cardiff’s work.
