In Spring of 2026 Bad Behaviour Collective convened their second workshop series, inviting a group of local artists and writers to meet at Art Metropole over the course of ten weeks to discuss the function of artmaking in our contemporary world. The result of these conversations is Purpose, Precarity, a zine that distills these discussions into a collection of questions about process, collaboration, instinct, authenticity, and the reasons why artists do what they do.
Bad Behaviour was formed in the summer of 2024 by Cason Sharpe and Adrienne Scott. Their two long-form workshop projects, Cause/Consequence and Purpose, Precarity, were held at Art Metropole in 2025 and 2026. Sharpe and Scott live, work, read, and write in Toronto ON.
