Warren Steven Scott is a fashion designer, jewellery designer, and craftsperson working in Toronto, Canada. Born in 1988 in White Rock, B.C., Scott is a member of the Nlaka’pamux First Nation, whose territory is located in the interior of present-day British Columbia. Scott’s mission is to design a modern image of fashion pictured through an Indigenous lens. With this lens, Scott’s accessories re-imagine the fundamental designs and motifs of his ancestors, the Coast Salish and Interior Salish peoples, including the use of the Salish shapes; ovoid, crescent and trigon.
