Live Translation of La Consommation with Felicty Tyler at 7:30pm

Art Metropole presents La Consommation(1973), an educational video produced by the anonymous collective Bloc Coop. This is being screened within the framework of Network Consciousness, curated by Felicity Tayler and launched by Vidéographe (Montréal). The video advocates for the cooperative movement as a means to equalize access to systems of food production and consumption.

Part of a multi-venue project by Felicity Tayler taking place at Vidéographe/Vithèque Montréal, SBC Gallery, Montréal, Art Metropole, Toronto, and Residency Unlimited, Brooklyn.

A Manifesto for
Sincere Loss
by Chef Nathan Isberg.

Upon invitation of Art Metropole Chef Nathan Isberg will launch the A Manifesto for Sincere Loss just a few doors down the street.

Both events will run simultaneously. The video will be screened onto Dundas Street through Art Metropole’s window in the evenings of 8 February to 8 March. The manifesto will be available through the Art Metropole shop at 1490 Dundas Street West (at Dufferin) and the Atlantic restaurant at 1597 Dundas West (at Brock).
