Book launch for Hannah Priesch and Niki Lederer's Death in the Studio

In the fall of 2001, Hannes Priesch and Niki Lederer contacted over 100 emerging and established artists in New York, Vienna, Bratislava and Toronto inviting them to stage their “death in the studio” for a book project. The artists visited 61 respondents to document their death scenario.

A lively crowd was on hand for the Toronto launch held at Art Metropole. Artist Niki Lederer was in town to sign books and co-host the launch. We were also fortunate to have many of the Toronto participants here to sign their contributions to the bookwork and meet with other guests.
